Jayne Nicolson
Area Revenue Manager
Jayne began her career in hospitality in Glasgow in the food and beverage department of the Hospitality Inn (now Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central) she moved to Hilton Glasgow taking on her first Front Office role working on the Reception Desk and in the Executive Lounge, then later moved into the Reservations department as an agent, not being able to fully let go of her food and beverage background Jayne continued to work additional shifts in Banqueting, waiting and wine waiting at functions being held in the Grand Ballroom. In June 2000 She transferred to Hilton Grosvenor taking on her first management role on Reception, one year later she decided it was time to move on and started with Chardon Leisure working in the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Theatreland as Guest Service Manager, after a year Jayne took on the role of Reservations Manager, before moving into the Holiday Inn next door to be Reservations Manager then later Revenue Manager for both neighbouring hotels.
After 5 years Jayne left Chardon Leisure to be Group Revenue Manager for Portland Hotels, looking after 6 properties located throughout the central belt of Scotland and Aberdeen. During her time with Portland Jayne was key in implementing new PMS, CM and Web systems across the Portfolio. Jayne is a Certified Associate Member of HOSPA in Revenue Management, having qualified from Oxford Brooks University in 2014 and received two highest grades achieved in cohort awards. When Portland Hotels was sold to Leonardo Hotels in July 2017 Jayne took a different direction working as PMS Installation Project Manager for Crerar Hotels on a short-term contract until she returned to Chardon Hotels in July 2017 as Area Revenue Manager.
